I think you’re my second favorite sport (after soccer).
I’ve never really been huge into boxing or pro wrestling, but the UFC 2009 video game on the 360 had me addicted, which led to YouTube-ing a ton of mixed martial arts videos.
This went on for two weeks, the eyeballs glued to the TV whenever any fight was on (usually on SpikeTV), daydreaming about training and fighting, playing that game, and just talking with people about it.
UFC 113 was last Saturday, and it was pretty awesome.
I had seen the first Shogun / Machida fight somewhere on the internet, and Shogun should’ve won that time, but the judges scored it in Machida’s favor.
They fought again, and Shogun did not leave it up to the judges…
He knocked him out.
But my favorite fight out of all the fights from Saturday was definitely Sam Stout and Jeremy Stephens.
Jeremy Stephens is now my favorite fighter.
After seeing the crazy awesome boxing and kicking from Stephens, I registered on UFC.com to access their vault, and every fight he’s in is great.
So that’s been the last couple weeks.
UFC.
I want the “real” gloves, and a punching bag would be sweet.

I’ve moved into the building where I’ll be the only RA of for the summer, and it’s pretty sweet.
Air conditioning.
My own bathroom, with a shower.
But, this is a ridiculously small private school, and there’s only about 10 people in the building right now.
A resident, a boyfriend, a resident, a boyfriend, a resident, a girlfriend, a guy, a girl, a director, and me.
Give or take the odd person (see: my girlfriend).
That’s what else is going on.
Other than that, this summer is shaping up to be the best one ever, due to my hefty paycheck and being in an awesome building with an awesome job.
